April 27, 2018, ‘Traffik’, a thriller written and directed by Deon Taylor hits the big screen. Acquired by Lionsgate’s Codeblack Films, the movie follows a couple on what begins as a romantic weekend.
Starring Omar Epps and Paula Patton, ‘Traffik’ tells the tale of a couple who travel to a peaceful mountaneous terrain for a cozy cabin getaway only find themselves trapped, fighting against a group of malicious sex traffickers all while struggling to survive.
Codeblack Films a division of Lionsgate, behind movies such as ‘All Eyes On Me’ brings ‘Traffik’ to theaters. Produced by Taylor’s, Hidden Empire Film Group, partners include Roxanne Avent, Robert F. Smith and Paula Patton’s company Third Eye Productions. ‘Traffik’ is executively produced by Mark Burg of Primary Wave Entertainment.
