Through movies, music, and television, Roxanne Avent has established herself as a leading producer and executive. Her creative vision and drive contributed to the success of many featured films and television shows.

Avent has been with Hidden Empire Film Group since the company’s inception. As an executive producer, she is responsible for securing talent for film and television shows, overseeing the full production teams of multiple projects simultaneously, and providing insight on scripts and concepts in development.

Her hands-on approach to creating exciting entertainment has been vital to the success of Hidden Empire Film Group’s full-length films. These films include “Dead Tone,” starring Rutger Hauer, Antwon Tanner, and Brian Hooks. The newly released horror film, “Chain Letter,” starring Nikki Reed of “Twilight.” Along with the upcoming comedy “The Hustle,” to be released July 5th of 2011, starring Charlie Murphy and David Alan Grier.

Avent also served as co-executive producer on “Nite Tales: The Movie,” starring Flavor Flav, which aired on the BET network Halloween 2008 with record viewers. “Nite Tales: The Series,” also hosted by Flavor Flav, stars names like Gary Busey, Ray J, Bai Ling, Brigitte Nielsen, among many others. “Nite Tales: The Series” offers a younger generation a unique twist inspired by “Tales of the Crypt.” The response from “Nite Tales: the Series” has been overwhelming, with a staggering number of viewers tuning in weekly to make this show a new late-night favorite.

Also a strong business woman, Avent brings her eye to detail to Hidden Empire Film Group where her duties include overseeing the business management as well as securing funds from investors. She is also the marketing executive responsible for coordinating and executing promotional efforts for Deon Taylor Enterprises’ projects.

Prior to her work at Hidden Empire Film Group, Avent also worked for the prestigious Directors Guild of America, where she oversaw all aspects of production for movie premieres, television award programs, and more than fifty employees. Avent’s credits in television production include such shows as “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

Roxanne Avent is also the founder of “Avent Productions,” where she has created a successful, independent film production company that specializes in film, television, video, and concert promotions. She has also previously worked as label manager for “Taylor Made Musik”, the largest independent record label in Northern California. At “Taylor Made Musik”, Avent combined her talent in movie production and music and developed soundtracks for independent movies.
